Temple in Bhagsu
Tucked away at the back in Bhagsu is the Bhageshwar Temple. This is a lovely little Hindu temple that the locals believe to be more than 10,000 years old.
Dal Lake
15 minutes in an auto from the centre of McLeod Ganj can be found the glorious Dal Lake, with many varieties of fish swimming in the peaceful water and every September devotees take a holy dip in the waters of Dal Lake. Typical India, you hear all this and arrive and there's no water in the lake. Our auto driver forgot to mention this to us, obviously, when he charged us 100rs for the privilege of being driven there.
Sunset
After the disappointment that was Dal Lake we carried on to the view point to see the sun set and drink copious amounts of Masala Chai. It's not every day you get to see the sun set from such high altitude that you are actually above the clouds - BEAUTIFUL!!!
